The resonance of the leaves slowly giving up the last of their water in the summer sun accompanies the lone thoughts creaking through the wander's mind. Repelled by the reflection of the sun on the river, his eyes trace a slow movement further long the river, this caused him to remember how long it has been since the cold bowl of leftover oats that served as breakfast. Slowly his senses return to him and his mind is full of more troubling thoughts, yet still his eyes stared as the last of the ripples dispel. The small fish had long moved on yet there was no denying of it's existence, well, at lease a few minutes back; if the wander had known anything it was every minute seemed to work independent of the one before or the one that followed. These thoughts weighed down his mind which made the expressions of his face contorted. He reached down underneath the layers of clothing to pull out a dried piece of what seemed to be meat and proceeded to break smaller parts to pop into his mouth. He would chew on the small pieces no less than one hundred times before he reminded himself of his task and swallowed what was left of the finely chewed meat. His mind seemed to wander more than he did, though it was only time before he found his answers; even still it did not help unburden his mind. When he finished off the last of the dried meat his hands rummaged through the layers of his clothing again, this time pulling out a wine skin the size of half his body. He raised the skin to his lips and with gulp fit for a giant, he washed the unpleasant taste down. The sun was at it's highest as he raised his hand up shading his face to observe it's position. He sighed and once again raised the wine skin to his lips taking a smaller gulp this time but still enough to drown a small mouse. Moving towards his bag he pulled out a roughly sewn collection of pelts to which he rested his head upon. Whilst he stared at the sun through the heavily occupied canopy, for a brief moment before he dozed off - his mind was weightless and the thoughts froze solid.
